R.I.P Junaid Ahmed – Africa’s Best Producer

The film and entertainment industry was put on ault after the news traveled that director, producer and filmmaker , Junaid Ahmed had passed on due to medical reasons.

It was around 8am this morning that news got out the Junaid Ahmed had passed on. Tributes poured in as many people remembered this icon for his bubbly attitude and inspiring lessons he taught throughout his career.

He was a man of many talents and making movies was on top of his list. Just recently Junaid decided to bring the movie life to Chatsworth, his home town as he described it as an unforgettable experience. He decided to put Chatsworth on the map and he did it in style. Shooting the movie Keeping Up With Kandasamy’s at many locations in Chatsworth brought back lots of memories of Junaids childhood.

He was also acknowledged for his work in his previous released block buster – Happiness Is A Four Letter Word, which was in cinemas for over five weeks.

Junaid Ahmed’s funeral took place in Glenwood this afternoon.
