Tornado hits Johannesburg and Lady goes missing in Umhlanga due to floods


Yet another day of misery for fellow South Africans.
Just when you think it’s over, there’s always something else to bring us back to yesterday’s event.

With extremely heavy rain fall and an unexpected Tornado, suddenly hits Ekurhuleni in Gauteng, South Africa.

Passing through Thembisa at 4pm this afternoon (26 July 2016) which was stated as ‘very strong’, severely damaged three main areas; Phumulani mall in Winnie Mandela section, Thembisa hospital and a total garage.

Although there Tornado ripped through East Rand, there were only a few minor injuries. However, buildings were damaged.
In other News, 62-year-old mum has been last seen yesterday afternoon as she left her workplace in Bellair for home.

Brenda Lynn Scriven’s abandoned car was spotted in the Glen Anil area but she was not to be found in it.

With family,friends and the help of rescue teams, the search for Brenda went on for hours. However, the search was suspended this afternoon at around 4:30pm when it became dark and began to rain once again in Durban.
“The Pink Ladies have released a missing person’s flyer for Brenda with contact details for Greenwood SAPS for anyone with information”.
